Southern Regional Rep:

Jade Anderson

Hotep family

My name is Jade Anderson and I am the Student Circle Southern Regional Representatives. I am a Florida A&M University Alumni who has a bachelor's of science in Psychology and a minor in Fine Arts. I am currently working on my Master's in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University, and plan to eventually obtain a Ph.D. in Family and Marriage Therapy. My research interests include Black family and couple relations as a whole. I aspire to aid in the improvement of the relationships among our people from a broad perspective.

It is my duty to act as a liason for those graduate students across the nine states of ABPsi’s southern region. I work to facilitate communication between Student Circle Chapters and the Student Circle Central Committee. In addition, I help students develop and maintain ABPsi chapters in their respective schools.

I aspire to solidify the southern region as it pertains to organization, communication, and continuing its participation in ABPsi. I also aim to foster excitement in students, to take part the Association, so that they might utilize the jengaship (mentoring) and the educational support that is offered by the professional members of the Association. In addtion, I plan facilitate more networking interactions between graduate students within my region. Finally I would like to extend a hand in friendship to any student who is interested in learning more about ABPsi, as desire all students to feel the same love and support that I have, as part of the ABPsi family!

Peace and Blessings,

Jade Anderson, B.S. in Psychology
